"Bikes from a bygone era – they'll bring back fond memories."
02 · The Story

"Bikes have always been part of my life. They're a way of life."

I've had a lifelong passion for motorcycles. I bought my first bike – a Yamaha RD250 at 15, at 16 I began my apprenticeship at Doug Cresswell Suzuki. The next year I won my first New Zealand Road Racing Championship – the 'Up to 410cc Production Series'. Five more National titles followed in the years through to 1983.

While this isn't the biggest collection of bikes, it's a genuinely interesting one, and a place I think will bring back memories.

We opened the doors in February 2017 and we've hosted thousands of visitors from all over the world.

Drop by and take a walk down memory lane.

Incidentally, we're a not-for-profit organisation.

Co-sited with motorcycle collection.
